The Swedish was good enough to understand. There were no error big enough to cause confusion regarding the actual message you were conveying.

Regarding the word "patient" though:

If you're _A_patient, then you're "en patient" in Swedish.

If you're patiently waiting for the doctor to finally get around to seeing you, you're "tålmodig" in Swedish. The antonym is "otålig" - short for otålmodig.
