Vår "restaurang veckan" (Our restaurant week)

När min förälder var i Stockholm med min syster, vi åt i många restaurang.  Vanligtvis David och jag åk till indisk eller pizza, men vi hade en turné med min familj.  Många av dessa platser är bra för speciella tillfällen, eller om har du flera pengar att spendera.

Min favorit var Frantzen-Lindbergh. Jag önskar att tog jag min camera eftersom allting var så snygg och intressant.  Menyn är just ingredients och du beställa hur många serveringar vill du. De är tjänsvillig arbeta runt allergier och är mycket patient. Och maten är så gott.

A little exercise in Swedish, I had planned to write about our very own restaurant week tour when my family was in town, but I am still not very good at Swedish.  Happy to say that most of the above I wrote myself, and then checked against the dictionary and some other stuff to make sure that it was reasonable.  I am sure that there are still loads of errors though.  I feel like a little kid writing their first report about summer vacation or something like that.  But hey, gotta start somewhere. 

Basically I wrote this:
When my family was in Stockholm with my sister, we ate at many restaurants.  Usually Dave and I go to Indian or pizza, but we had a tour with my family.  Many of these places are good for special occassions, or if you have some money to spend (wanted to say money to burn, but it was well worth it in some of these places and I don't know that that would directly translate).

My favorite was Frantzen-Lindbergh.I wish that I took my camera because everything was beautiful and interesting.  The menu is just ingredients and you order how many courses you want.  They are helpful working around allergies and are very patient.  And the food is so good. 

See...something you would have written as a kid for a little class project.  Oh well.
Small steps towards Swedish progress.

Will have to write a more thorough review of the places...we had some amazing meals.

The Swedish was good enough to understand. There were no error big enough to cause confusion regarding the actual message you were conveying.

Regarding the word "patient" though:

If you're _A_patient, then you're "en patient" in Swedish.

If you're patiently waiting for the doctor to finally get around to seeing you, you're "tålmodig" in Swedish. The antonym is "otålig" - short for otålmodig.
