Our friend Rommy has gotten a team together and secured a place in the slightly insane Rickshaw Run this January.
Here the adventure is described. In brief, 2 weeks from northern to Southern India, in a rickshaw. For those who don't remember what a rickshaw is, well, here you go:
As Rommy describes:
"The Rickshaw Run is a two-week trek whose route changes with every
iteration of the adventure. Winter 2010’s trek begins in Pokhara, Nepal
in the north and ends in Cochin at the southern tip of India." On the link above there is also a map where "You see
two different routes on the map. The red one is the desert route and
the blue one is the jungle route. You’re not bound to any particular
route, but rather find your way to your destination. You’re required to
hit a couple checkpoints, but other than that, the route is determined
by your team."
It sounds crazy but, pretty fun.
So, if you want to live vicariously through team Tuk Tuk Goose...enjoy!
thanks for the awesome support guys! you rock!

I wondered what the heck this was about, and now I see, it's even more bizarre than it originally sounded...
