In all seriousness, I think it's some right wing swedish-mexican trying to bad mouth the rebels in Chiapas. I particularly am impressed by blood red paint on the pole.

Darn it...I wrote a whole response and then forgot to do that last step. Anyhow, I agree with you Mark, that it is some sort of political thing, and that the red paint really adds an extra kick. The combo of Muslim and sombrero was particularly intriguing to me (perhaps living in a foreign land has made me start fixating on strange things). If you search for Muslim gaze, you'll find a flickr profile with a wide assortment of similar fliers.

I think I'm right. If you go to that Muslim Gaze site, it appears that the photos are posted by, or attributed to, EZLN, which when googled, reveals that it is the Zapatista Army of National Liberation: Ejercito Zapatista de Liberacion Nacional.

Yup. You're right. Not sure if it's a Swedish group or an international collaboration. There is also a series for Free Palestine on the flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/muslimgaze/2901741248/
I don't know if they are badmouthing the group or not. Would need to learn more about it...particularly what is meant by the recuring title phrase: muslim gaze.
